Reasons why professionally designed websites are optimized for Google

Running out of budget? No problem. We can help you.

One very common reason Search Engine Optimization is not done in professionally design websites, is that the budget to create the website is put towards creation and (some times expensive) design. Website owners or website managers think a beautiful design will put it in a very good Google placement. They also believe, website designers will optimize their website, so it will be found in Google's search. After a year or longer, they find out it does not happen.

Usually, web designers are digital graphic designers, computer artists. It takes a technical, analytic to details, reason oriented, engineering mind to understand (and like) the dry cyber art of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), plus a quote of intuition too. A classical music composer once said that a great composition starts with inspiration born from intuition. Then the idea is send to the reasoning department; processed there and back to the intuition. We believe that SEO is a very similar process too: takes both intuition and reason to accomplish excellent results.

Why Search Engine Optimization is not done

I recently attended a seminar, entitled "Mastering the Law of Attraction", given by author Alicia Ashley. She explored how to bring forth the potential all human beings have, and use it to accomplish our most desired and/or needed goals in any aspects of life, like fitness, social, carrier, financial, and spiritual.

After a very intensive, interactive, inspirational, and educational workshop, I realize again that some people do not believe in their own (hidden) capabilities. They translate this feeling or lack of self esteem, in the believe they are not worth of many things they want.

Then I realized, perhaps it is the underlying cause of the reason why SEO is not done in so many web sites. Some people do not believe their website can be in the first page of Google Search. May be they just don't know. They think in the back of their minds, that their websites do not deserve to be in a very good search engine placement. I think they translate their lack of self esteem, which WE ALL HAVE in some or another areas of our lives, into the results of their efforts to accomplish something: "Why my site up there? No way, I'm not that good! Being in the first page of Google, Yahoo!, MSN, or Live Search, is only for the rich, successful and powerful ones! Not for my!" . Etc.

Other reasons why SEO is not done in most professionally design websites, are:

• Websites were created and designed 10 years ago or more. Google didn't existed, and SEO changed drastically since then. This websites just need an SEO update. ADVANTAGE: they have "SENIORITY" over new websites; older websites have priority in Google, over new created web sites. Search engine optimization cast quicker results on these "OLDER" websites. This is one of the few life situations in which being "OLDER" is good!!
   
• Website owners do not know Search Engine Optimization can be done, even though they already hired a web designer.
   
• Website owners think or hope a very good professionally designed website is all they need to show up in Google. Unfortunately Google do not pay any attention to LOOKS.
   
• Web designers and owners believe that by just including a long list of keywords in their website code, will suffice to have a good place in Google's search.
   
• Web designers do not know Search Engine Optimization can be done and/or how to optimize a website for search engines.
   
• When website owners realize or "discover" SEO needs to be done, and / or is a MUST now days, they had exhausted their budget or are running out of money. We sure can help you if you are in this situation.

• Corporate satellite websites. Large corporations offer to their branches or independent operated agencies, professionally designed websites at very low cost. Some examples are: Medical corporations, Insurance services, Real Estate agencies, franchises. They have invaluable information and searching tools, but not traffic. This sites are designed to provide information to agencies and customers; not for Internet exposure and traffic. We have successfully implemented solutions for situations like that. • You feel un-easy, uncomfortable giving somebody you don't know access to your website. Ask for references of websites optimized by the SEO company, and call them.
   
• Website administrators, and/or designers are very protective about their sites. 'Some body else is going to work on my "baby", after I've been taking care of it for so long?'. It's a very understandable feeling; you can not trust just any body. Ask for references; contact them and get to know who is going to work on your precious site.
